Cat for Adoption

Adopted!
Clovis

I am a beautiful white and gray tabby cat with green eyes. I am affectionate and cuddly, and am so happy to be indoors. It is rumoured that when my original owner passed away, the remaining family threw me outside to fend for myself. I spent the coldest winter outside, trying to survive on scraps and trying to get warm on people's porches when they didn't throw me off. One kind individual put a blanket out for me, and then some food.

When she realized that I was there all the time because I had no home, she brought me inside. I was so relieved to finally have food and unfrozen water, and a warm bed to sleep in. I had sure become a mess outside. I had lots of fleas, very bad ear mites, was all cut up from getting into fights over the food scraps that we fought for, had matts in my fur, etc. I was taken to the vet and cleaned up. I was so happy when I got to my foster's - I finally felt like I could relax for the first time. I crawled into my foster's lap and fell asleep for a long time. My vet care continued, and I received more medication and was neutered when I was healthier.

By now, I was totally happy in my new foster home, and spent the night sleeping in bed with my foster. Please give me a chance at a permanent home, along with all my feline brothers and sisters who get dumped, abandoned for no fault of our own.....

Our new cat has had a rough adjustment with our previous cat but week by week they are more comfortable with each other and with us humans. As he becomes more comfortable we see more and more of his sweet kitten personality. He's playful but gentle. He is curious about
everything and not afraid to break it to see how it works.
We like him and he is sweet little guy.
