Cat for Adoption
I was the runt of the litter, but am making up for it now! I have the biggest appetite, and am developing the fastest and am the most curious and playful! I have beautiful unusual eyes - one is blue like a Husky's and the other is emerald green.. I too am very affectionate and miaow to be picked up and cuddled all the time. I get so comfortable & warm in my mom's arms, that I always fall asleep there.....
We’ve arrived - and it was not without its challenges! Our mom Nieve was freezing outside just days before we were born. Just like the Christmas story, our mom was looking for a place to give birth to us. Luckily her rescuer brought her inside just days before we were born. Because no one could provide our mom a room, we were born in a cardboard box. Days later, our mom had to have an emergency operation to save her life and ours. Had we not been inside, our mom would have bled a slow painful death of pain and infection outside, and we would have frozen to death in the snow and ice…
We were named the “Philosopher Kittens” because as soon as we were born, we were always staring out in space - completely lost in thought..... trying to solve this world's riddles.... A vet who met us when we were only days old said that we were very developmentally & physically advanced for our age.
** We would like to remind you to please not adopt us only because we are so cute! Please think of your long-term plans for us, so that we don't end up outside - like our poor mother Nieve, our uncle or older brother Falcor, the "Safari Cat" family, and all of our feline cousins, uncles and aunts. They all need homes too, and we don't want them forgotten and still homeless - because they are not as cute and fluffy as we are!
** We will be weaned and ready to be adopted in pairs in February. You can adopt us prior to then, and follow our progress until we're fully weaned and ready to go to our new homes (link to adoption contract).
