Description

UPDATE: September 10, 2014

SWEETIE is 2 years old. She was returned to the Clinic because her family no longer wanted her. She had also been declawed!

Sweetie suits her name perfectly. Despite what she has been through, she is a loving, affectionate sweetheart! She is currently looking for a real permanent home.

You can read the full story of Sweetie and her family below.

Sweetie is a beauty, too
Sweetie Today
sweetie Sweetie - *I have been adopted!*
I am another sweet little white female fluffball with a gray patch on the top of my head. Our father obviously is a gray cat, as we have all gotten some gray in us.  I am a gentle sweet little girl, who just wants to be cuddled and held. I would love to be adopted with one of my siblings or my mother.

I am a very sweet young Mama cat - just over one year old. I am a short-hair white cat with big green eyes.  A beautiful, sweet gentle "Snow White" female.  No one knows my history, but I obviously had a home a home before. I am extremely cuddly and affectionate, and am an excellent protective nurturing mother. Somehow, I ended up outside - I either got dumped or abandoned or my previous family lost me..... :-(

Because I was not spayed when I ended up outside, I got pregnant. It was hard outside - with the weather getting cooler and all the rain. I was very hungry, so I tried to figure out how to survive and feed my babies. Being the super intelligent girl that I am, I looked around until I found the right person to help me. I noticed a family sitting outside in their garden, so I let them know that I was very hungry. They put food out for me, and as I started to trust them a little more, I would start eating in front of them. I was ravenous all the time - as  I was feeding myself and my five babies. So I kept coming back to visit the family and ask for food.

The person  I chose to help me of course was a vet!! I knew that we would get the care we needed with this rescuer. As I started eating, the vet immediately noticed that I was a young nursing mother. The vet followed me to where I hid my kittens. At first, I was very unhappy and did not trust the family when they started collecting my babies and putting them in a box. I got very angry and let them know how displeased I was. I gave my babies the signal to hide, so we gave the vet a good chase! However, once I was also put inside the box with my babies, I settled down immediately. We were then taken to the vet clinic for care, and are now living in the vet's office!

We are really enjoying our new environment. We never had regular food and toys before, or soft beds to sleep in, and so much attention, pats & cuddles! Every time I see someone, I just purr to show how happy I am. I love being patted and cuddled. Sometimes I am sad when everyone gives all the attention to my babies, and forgets about me. I will chat - to remind you to look at me and pat me too!

I am still  nursing my kittens, but once they are all adopted, I would love a permanent home that I can call my own. I would be especially happy to be adopted with one of my kittens - so that I don't end up all on my own and have kitten withdrawals..... Will you please give us the permanent home we would love to have? I am a very affectionate chatty little girl, who will make you an amazing companion! I of course will be spayed and vaccinated once my little ones have been weaned. We have already been de-wormed and de-fleaed.

Meet my sweet little blue-eyed "dwarfs" - who are now about 10 weeks old:
cutie Cutie- *I have been adopted!*
I am a sweet little white female fluffball. I am the only one that does not have a gray patch on my head. I am extremely playful and cuddly, and love sleeping in a pile with my siblings. I would love to be adopted with one of them or my mother. Because we are living in a vet's office, we are receiving the best vet care possible!

Cheeky - *I have been adopted!*
I am the sweet little runt of the group. And I am the only one who is not white. I am a short-hair gray tabby female. I am the tiniest because I wait for my siblings to eat first before I do. I used to be the shyest but now I am becoming quite the cheeky little girl. I love attention and cuddles and will do whatever I can to get them! When a photographer came to take my picture, I climbed up her leg. When she leaned over I climbed onto her back. As you will see from the picture, I love sitting in the vet's chair -  I am training to become a vet and give consultations! I am looking to be adopted with one of my siblings or with my mother.
sleepy
Of course I woke up and wanted to investigate when I woke up
Sleepy - *I have been adopted!*
I am the sleepy little kitten. I love to snooze and snuggle up with my mom and siblings. I also love to play very hard, but then I get so tired, I have to sleep - sometimes right in the middle of playing! I too am a sweet little white fluffball with a gray patch on my head. I am a little boy and would love to be adopted with one of my siblings or my mom.
happy Happy - *I have been adopted!*
I am a sweet little happy boy - another white flufflball with a gray patch on my head. I am always happy and love to play. The minute I see a caregiver, I run over and give the biggest, happiest welcome. I am always so happy at the prospect of food and attention...! Will you adopt me with one of my siblings or my mom?
